Overview
The character creation process is pretty straight-forward. In Vanguard, the character creation basically comes down what the player's playstyle is: Grouping vs soloing, Mage vs Melee, etc. Each class is unique and brings differing benefits to a group. Usually groups are formed based on role (Protective Fighter, Offensive Fighter, Caster, or Healer) and less so on specific classes.
Free to Play Restrictions
Some classes are free and some classes free. If you pick a free class and free race, you can level up to the maximum. The non-free classes and races are capped at level 20.
