Ah yes, the stock-in-trade of the Lamplighters organization. Often, whil doing Civic Diplomacy, you will receive bits of Information. This can come in four different types.
I see there you hae some information about Trends.. That is one of the types. The other types are Blackmail, Plots, and Arcana. Each Informant deals in only one type. however, I am a little different as I will take any Information you have.
Where does this Information come from?
You can earn it by doing Convince, Incite, Interview, and Gossip parleys. They are little scraps that you overhear or learn from NPC's which is baluable to my organization.
Entertain parleys do not give away Infomration?
No, the subject of many Entertains is usually a story or joke well-known across all of Telon, not somethign we have much use for. You can, however, earn items which vendors will pay you cash for.
What is this information useful for?
Each type can earn you different rewards. If yo have enough of a type to trade in an Informant will usually grant you a pice of clothing, though sometimes you may receive Prestigious Baubles instead.

Exactly. You can earn better clothing than what you have so that you may move up in Society and stretch your Diplomatic abilities more.
However, you have only 3 crude hearsay of Trends. That isn't enough normally, but I owe Haruji a favor. Take them back to him and tell him to give you some coin in exchange.. In future you will need sever hearsay, five Rumors, or three Evidence for a trade.
